It’s time for another road trip! This time it’s a little closer to home, but still as epic as we drive our 2005 Porsche 911 from Derby to St Raphael on the French coast.
Bonjour mes ami. Dans trois jours, nous embarquons pour un autre road trip. Err, that’s enough of that i think. So then, Wednesday 8th May 2024 we are off to the South of France in GRR, our hopefully trusty Porsche 911 Carrera. We have a couple of stops on the way down in Langres and Aix En Provence and should cover around 3000 miles over the 10 days which is more mileage than the car has done in the past 4 years combined!
I’ve got to say, I’m excited about the thought of driving my pride and joy to the South of France but at the same time i’m a little apprehensive. I spend most days driving a Mercedes S Class which is the pinnacle of driving comfort so driving nearly a 1000 miles in a sports car that is 5″ off the ground with hard suspension may not be as exciting as it sounds.
