Deep South Road Trip
It’s 6am on the 9th May 2023 and we are just about to head over to Nashville, Tennessee to set off on a journey through the heart of the American South, a road trip rich in music, history, food, and unforgettable hospitality. From the jazz-filled streets of New Orleans to the rolling hills of Tennessee, and the cotton fields of Mississippi.
A few things have changed since the road trip was first planned, the main one being that unfortunately Oscar, our son, is now coming to the second year of his university degree so can’t join us on this trip. At least that means the adults can take in all the famous Southern hospitality, the blues bars, the gin joints and whatever else we can find.
These posts captures our time weaving through, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee, sharing the sights, sounds, and stories we discovered along the way.
The following posts are presented in ascending order. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to get in touch
