Today we explored New Yorks Central Park, saw where John Lennon was Murdered and took in a Christmas Market or two on our New York Christmas Holiday
International travel during the covid pandemic hasn't been easy but as with everything, if you take the risks the reward is there. So in June 2021 with the USA well and truly closed to international visitors we found ourselves booking a week in New York in December for my 50th Birthday.
As roads with bridges go, US Route 1 is pretty impressive, especially the 7-mile bridge which, despite what the name suggests is actually only 6.7 miles long.
We spent today relaxing in Santa Barbara and around pool at the heavenly Franciscan Inn.
We headed out of the Grand Canyon Village relatively early still slightly disappointed at the village ( but not the canyon i must add) and headed towards to Winslow
