Las Vegas Sightseeing by Land and Air
Today i ticked off a couple of items from my bucket list, firstly to drive an American classic muscle car and secondly to go up in a helicopter. Fortunately in Las Vegas you can do both very easily.

only a few months till our next American Adventure.
Its our 20th Wedding Anniversary in June so to celebrate ( or commiserate ) we are leaving our teenager behind and jumping on a plane to Miami where a Mustang cabriolet awaits us and a drive through the everglades and down to Key West.
Next on the list is a drive up Highway One to San Luis Obispo. We left Santa Barbara mid morning and headed out on the coastal road through a very nice looking estate. We were soon up on the cliffs overlooking the bay and after annoying an American woman
We spent today relaxing in Santa Barbara and around pool at the heavenly Franciscan Inn.
The town was a 20 minute walk from the hotel along the sea front and then up Stearn street so we took a leisurely wander after a light breakfast in the hotel lobby.
The drive from Anaheim to Santa Barbara via the Pacific coast highway showed us both sides of the American dream, from the poverty of South L.A to the riches of Malibu and Pacific coast.
Today we decided to leave the car at home so to speak and take a day long guided tour sightseeing around Los Angeles. We had done most the sights last year on a self driven tour but not knowing the city very well we found it difficult to park and make our way round Beverley Hills etc.
Disney today ! This is going to be a tough one to write and i’m going to attempt to get Oz to do the Disneyland write up proper.

Today we drove from Lancaster to Anaheim with a slight detour into the heart of Los Angeles and Hollywood to do some sneaker shopping.
With the Kill Bill church filming location as our eventual destination we had an early start after a lovely breakfast in the hotel. First stop was a quick jaunt into Lone Pine to get the now obligatory fridge magnet for Oz and pin badge for myself. We then made our way to the “Movie Road,
